Tier 3 Intervention Support

Tier 3 intervention is characterized by intensive, one-on-one learning delivered in higher dosage, which presents a significant challenge for schools and districts already navigating complex issues like staffing shortages and the need for adequate teacher training. Recognizing these hurdles, Made for Math is dedicated to ensuring that all students receive the necessary support. We provide two distinct, flexible options designed to help schools and districts successfully implement and manage effective Tier 3 interventions, ensuring comprehensive support for students with the greatest needs.

IS TIER 3 JUST A MORE INTENSIVE TIER 2?

One of the most common misunderstandings in school systems is the assumption that Tier 3 intervention is simply more of Tier 2—more time, more worksheets, or more small group instruction. In reality, Tier 3 is fundamentally different: it requires individualized, diagnostic-driven support delivered at a higher intensity, often 1:1, with specialized methods. Treating Tier 3 like an extension of Tier 2 fails to address the root challenges faced by students with persistent learning difficulties and can delay meaningful progress. Tier 3 students need more than extra time—they need specialized instruction. Made for Math offers 1:1 tutoring and training for educational professionals on research-based intervention designed for students with dyscalculia, dyslexia, ADHD, and other complex learning needs.

We empower teachers to bridge the gap between the selected curriculum and the need for systematic, targeted instruction for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other math learning differences.
