One recurring theme that we see happen here at Math for Middles is that kids hit middle school and life just falls apart.  Sometimes it’s just because everything is new and brain development is rapid.  Then other times, it’s because learning differences go unnoticed or given attention to.  Today, Natalie Powell joins me to talk all about this with us!  Her advice is spot on and I think you’ll find yourself nodding along  with the issues that pop up and what you can do to help.

We’ll dive into:

  • How dyslexia can present itself in middle school
  • What to do if suspect there’s an issue
  • What support to seek

Be sure to follow Natalie on Instagram!  She shares super interesting information each and every day.  Head over to her website to grab the links to all the goods.
