A 4-week class to help students finally understand, visualize, and feel confident with fractions. All classes are tailored to your child and provided online, one-one with a math interventionist trained in research-informed best practices.
We Use CRA-I
At Made for Math, we use the CRA-I model—Concrete, Representational, Abstract, and Integrated—to help students truly understand math, not just memorize steps. Just like children need to connect sounds and letters together to make sense of reading, students need to connect hands-on experiences, visuals, and written math to truly grasp what they’re learning. The Concrete stage is tools students can hold and manipulate, which increases engagement and builds strong memory pathways. The Representational stage is drawing simple pictures or models to show they understand the math. The Abstract level is where they write numbers and equations to solve problems efficiently.
What makes our approach powerful is the integration across all three levels—helping students connect their thinking at each stage. It’s great for all learners and essential for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and other learning differences.

Use of CRA-I
We use the latest research to inform our intervention practices. Students learn best when they are working with hands-on materials and pairing it with the written symbols. Just like sounds and letters work together to provide meaning.
Designed for YOUR Child
This is a great solution for students that either have suspected or diagnosed dyslexia, dycalculia, or any other learning difference that requires a more systematic and direct approach to instruction.
No Confusing "Tricks"
Students are capable of learning math language when it is paired with a student friendly definition that is mathematically correct and morphology. We add in a gross motor movement to aide in dual-coding to help the student recall the vocabulary in the future as well.
Fraction Games
Our games are tailored to your child’s interests but also target the selected skill. Games allow students to get repetition in without the stress of high stakes memorization or recall.

All the needed supplies for fractions are included in the cost of this 4-week class. We’ll ship them as soon as we find a spot for your child with a math specialist.
