  • Build conceptual understanding with a concrete–representational–abstract (CRA) approach.

  • Strengthen key skills through vocabulary, math facts, and problem schemas.

  • Use practical tools such as arrays, multi-digit multiplication models, and visual division strategies.

  • Support diverse learners with adaptable, multisensory methods for general and special education.

  • Apply real-world strategies for story problems, ratios, and proportions to build confidence and problem-solving resilience.

Whether you’re a classroom teacher, homeschool parent, or support staff, this webinar is designed to give you practical tools you can use immediately—no extra curriculum required.

Meet Heather

>Heather Brand, the Operations Manager at Made for Math, has over 20 years of experience in education, beginning her career in the classroom and tutoring prior to that.

Early on, she noticed that about a fifth of her students didn’t respond as expected to traditional school curriculums, a pattern she observed even when transitioning to teaching in gifted education—including with her own child.

This discovery sparked her passion for understanding dyslexia, neurodiversity, and the science of reading. Heather became a trained reading interventionist through Neuhaus and achieved remarkable success in helping students overcome reading challenges.

Motivated to find a similar approach for math, she discovered Made for Math and became a trained practitioner in Marilyn Zecher’s Multisensory Math. Heather’s expertise and dedication continue to transform the learning experiences of neurodiverse students.

Our daughter has always struggled with math to the point the neuropsych said she would likely need to memorize basic math as she does not yet have the ability to critically think and apply skills needed for math. We had tried several different approaches and interventions in the past. Made For Math is were we saw tangible gains that translated to her school work and life in general. I knew when the manipulative kit showed up we were in knowledgeable hands. The team really thinks of everything and works to meet the needs of each student exactly where they are at to build a strong foundation. My daughter has never complained about her tutoring sessions and instead often tells me "Ms. Rebecca taught me that!" when I ask her how she knows so much : ) The entire staff at Made For Math are dedicated, critical thinking, problem solvers that go above and beyond to work with families to help their children reach their full potential. The team takes the time to answer our many questions and even dive into the methodology of their approach. Thank you for the compassion and flexibility you have shown our family and the solid math foundation you have diligently laid brick by brick with our daughter. I was worried that we would spend a lot of time and money for little gains. ABOVE AND BEYOND! The support and reassurance paired with the deep talks regarding methods helped me feel confident. The enthusiasm and skill growth aas well as retention in our child. She is not just memorizing math facts but becoming more confident with the concepts as well.

My daughter's attitude regarding math and her overall understanding. We rarely have tears as she has built confidence in many areas to which she can rest on when she is being challenged in new areas. She feels like she CAN learn math.

I first heard about MFM from my Sister-in-law, Bethany Howell. Before, MFM, Bethany was always working for her "kids" to succeed in math. She is the most dedicated teacher and the traditional school system failed her, in my opinion. She worked long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays selflessly and was not properly recognized nor supported, (once again, in my opinion.)Bethany's now has a much better work-life balance. She now works in a supportive environment with professionals that respect her professional abilities and her personal time. And she gets to do what she loves...getting kids to better understand math and feel more confident. Bethany gets excited when one of her kids has a breakthrough and it is fun to share in their success. I love that when I talk with Beth that she is not exhausted and that she always has good things to say about her job.

I first heard of MFM through meeting Adrianne in an entrepreneur group that had nothing to do with our cool 2E kids.

Having a 2E child who can mentally do math in his head, but not on paper I had no idea where to turn for help. Adrianne has been a wealth of knowledge in helping me understand my childs brain and the way he thinks in order to help him feel successful in ways that the school system had him feel like a failure.

Thank you Adrianne for following your passion! Moms like me are so grateful that you went outside the box and created a program unlike any out there for our amazing unique kids to thrive and find their innner power!

I met Adrianne when I was learning to teach online. I have seen her business grow into a beautiful place to work that puts student learning first! MFM has great training for teachers and focuses on the research behind the best methods for teaching students. Adrianne always sends me great reading materials (books and journal articles)! Parents should know that MFM has passionate, engaging, effective teachers!

I didn’t expect the math teaching to be so useful & pragmatic. My expectations were not only meet, but were exceeded! I’m so happy that Made for Math & Brailee has been a resource in my life. It’s obvious that she enjoys helping her students & they in return enjoy learning from a great teacher. Teaching math is not only more fun, but it’s understood more.

My son joined our highly capable program in the Fall. He was doing 3rd grade math last year and then had to jump to 6th grade math this year (they work 2 grades ahead). His dyslexia makes multi step math difficult and trying to fill those gaps was just too much. He spent the first few months feeling frustrated, getting more behind, and hating math. I was hoping it could fill the gaps of the math he missed. Very well. Not only has he filled gaps but he is completely caught up and starting to get ahead of his classmates in math learning.Having someone else be his guide and explain it in relevant terms. We don't know new math and it was really hard for us to teach it, much less make it fun. Kayla does such a good job explaining when Grant went wrong, cheering him on when he does something right, and keeping him engaged and interested.

Grant has more self confidence and more patience in learning new concepts. He doesn't stress about math homework anymore and is starting to enjoy it again.

Our middle son has always struggled with math. Even after learning about his disability (dyscalculia), we still struggled with finding something and someone that worked best for him and his learning style. I was initially worried about having the right fit and understanding. Every worry I had was dispelled. The words my son said repeatedly spoke volumes, "He explains it until I get it". Jack came to the table with ideas and never stopped trying to meet him where he was at in order to help him understand. We're still in process, but his math confidence and his overall confidence in his abilities have definitely improved.
