Experience the Power of The CRA Club

Don’t just take our word for it—listen to our educators! As Mary P. shared, “The depth and quality of the CRA Club is unmatched—from the visuals and training to the mentor calls and resources.”

Every minute you spend with our materials is productive, thanks to the organization and creativity that make it easy to find exactly what you need for your struggling learners. We’ve built something truly extraordinary for teachers and students alike.

It’s time to equip your team with these exceptional tools and get your teachers excited to help your struggling learners.

What is CRA?

At Made for Math, we use this approach to help students truly understand math and reach fluency. Just like children need to connect sounds and letters together to make sense of reading, students need to connect hands-on experiences, visuals, and written math to truly grasp what they’re learning. The Concrete stage is tools students can hold and manipulate, which increases engagement and builds strong memory pathways. The Representational stage is drawing simple pictures or models to show they understand the math. The Abstract level is where they write numbers and equations to solve problems efficiently. The goal is to map these to each other similar to how we tie together a phoneme to its grapheme.

Introducing

The CRA Club

CRA Club Heather Adrianne

We know students learn math best when numbers are connected to meaning. Math becomes accessible when learners connect concrete experiences, visual models, and symbols with clarity and support. This approach honors how the brain builds understanding and protects students from overwhelm and frustration.

Just as the Science of Reading brought structure and clarity to literacy, math is experiencing its own movement toward explicit, visual, research-based instruction grounded in the CRA approach.

Students don’t have to figure math out on their own. We support them with clear steps that connect manipulatives, visuals, and symbols so the meaning is mapped to the abstract.

Every learner deserves math that makes sense, and leads to confidence.

That’s why we started the CRA Club.

It’s a learning community where educators learn to connect concrete learning, visual representations, and symbolic math through clear mini-trainings, ready-made resources, and supportive coaching.

Educators are calling the CRA club,
“structured literacy for math.”

Come see why the excitement is growing!
